Stop the insanity or let me off this unmerry-go-round

It really makes me wonder after reading John Twiggs well stated and informative post (thanks   John, very well done), why are we allowing the LIEbs to remain in power, or any destructive entity (harperites) that passes itself off as a party "for" the people when they demonstrate consistently otherwise?

Do we not as individual citizens and collective communities have a duty to eliminate or at least prevent immediately, catastrophic events occurring from disastrous decision making in government when we hear or see it being done?

And the right to full disclosure of government behaviors questionable ( BC Rail, et al ) without interference by said government, done by fully independent bodies of certified professionals (no talk-show hosts), with no censorship (blacking out of government appointed or associated with said government) of names/dates/amounts?

To allow them to make foolish laws, to run on laws created a hundred & fifty odd years ago, and then laugh as we rant and rave (supposedly helplessly) about it while not fixing it, makes us the 1d10ts, not them.
Haven't we learned anything from the scandals and actions of past politicians and such ilk?

My point is, we don't, nor shouldn't, have to wait until an election "date" to fix a situation needing fixing now.

We need a good shaking up, no sense in putting it off and off, it has to come. The constitution is broken, our justice system is broken. Time for a rewrite.

But, not in 2013 or 2023.
NOW.

Waiting, bound by foolish, totally out-of-date laws and regulations, is so moronic as to give credence to the LIEbs (and the CONs) for knowing the public for the sheep they are, and allowing for the continuation of it's exploitation.
I mean, do you really know your rights, and responsibilities as a citizen of Canada? Then why aren't you acting on them.
Solidarity means together, not separate, not by oneself.

Following idiotic rules is the downfall of our society, which are made up of our friends and families. Don't we care anymore?

Isn't one definition of insanity "trying to be sane in an insane world"?
Well, I no longer wish to participate in this insanity.

We know how, where, what, and who to fix. To hell with the supposed $$ amount. It's irrelevant when put up against a human life.
Besides, the government is spending it anyways on future plans that contribute to the downfall of society,  not the enhancement of it (site C dam as one example, raw log shipments to China as another) so why can't we just divert that irresponsibly allocated funding towards our poverty issues, our education issues, our environmental issues, our job situation?

Again, when people are ready to stand up for themselves (and each other) instead of putting up with figure-heads who won't take responsibility, call me as I'll be happy to participate in a real and practical society which we all know can exist, not the one in which we currently allow some entity to exploit and dictate to us while they literally rape us and our land of our humanity and resources.

Meanwhile, I'll be out in the bush poaching the Queen's deer so I can eat.

LIEberals for the people? I think not.

Good start for this blog, thanks to Norm Farrel , Laila Yuile and other on the spot bloggers who are concerned, and astounded at the bald-faced lying going on in politics and in the media today.
Thanks to their hard works and dedication, they've made a blogger out of me as I cannot sit idly on my hands anymore and feel the need to give and repost and add my own topics and issues about our governing "leaders" and media reps who go all out (especially at beach parties, vacations and so forth) at the taxpayers expense both emotional and financial, to promote one another into fortuitous positions like Campbell getting the Post of High Commissioner to Great Britain a posting that has most auspicious, albeit at for their own personal agendas, politicians drooling for.

That, and the incredible statement that Gordon (I didn't do it) Campbell is being appointed (illegally I might add, although this is under contention atm) to the Order of BC.
SAY WHAT?? 0.o
Yep, seems the powers that be (Campbell's former staffers and "buddies") are pushing for him to receive this honor, one that usually is reserved for "Exceptional Achievements" in specific areas.
I'm pretty sure though, that running BC into the ground, does NOT count as an achievement to the peoples of BC, nor should the OBC be endorsing it.


Woe to those who have broken public trust, as a legendary icon (Frank Zappa) once said: "May their shit come to life and kiss them".
Going to need lots of Charmin in the near future if these people (Pamila Martin, CKNW's Bill Good, right on up to Christy Clark) don't stop with the gushing of sentiment (sediment?) that puts them on the pedestal of what NOT to say or do while holding public or government office, and to make sure their tweets don't let the cat out of the bag.
